Summers Sons & C.Tappin bring together South London brothers Turt and Slim with their longtime collaborator, producer and pianist C.Tappin. Rooted in UK hip-hop and shaped by a shared love of jazz, soul and live musicianship, the trio have developed a warm, distinctive sound built around thoughtful lyricism, rich instrumentation and years of creative chemistry. Following five Summers Sons albums on Melting Pot Music and more than 50 million streams, the trio join DeepMatter Records for 'Lightworks', an eight-year labour of love that sees them move beyond their sample-led roots and embrace fully live instrumentation for their most ambitious collaborative project to date.
