Natty Reeves debut album 'Condition' is here!

DeepMatter is proud to present, 'Condition', the debut, full-length album from Natty Reeves. 11 tracks painting internal monologues and complex feelings across mesmerising groove-driven melodies and brightly coloured guitar soundscapes.

“I wanted to create an honest musical reflection of my past year. Condition is an attempt to balance my perfectionist approach and the imperfections in day to day life. The album was made in my bedroom with some help from close friends.”

All music throughout is written, performed, mix and mastered by Natty, with the exception of Living Lonely & Living Lonely (Reprise) in which he brought in his good friend and long-time collaborator, Simon Jefferis. As well as being an expression of himself as a musician, it was also an opportunity for Natty to show off his artistic side with a paintbrush – Using paintings he has created himself as the artworks throughout. A limited run of prints will be available of each artwork with the album's release.

Following the success of his single, ’Smoke’, featuring Katie Tupper, vbnd delivers 'Daughter of The Sun', which features the likes of other fellow Saskatoon residents Justice Der, Connor Newton, Simon Jasieniuk and Katie Tupper.

Although known for his electronic style, vbnd stepped out of his comfort zone for this one, delivering a laidback soulful album inspired by his favourite neo-soul & jazz music.

Famoso & Lafleur drop debut album 'Styles & Tribulations'

After taking a 4-year hiatus from music, Famoso & Lafleur return with the follow-up to their debut EP ‘Bada Bing’ with their debut full-length album, Styles & Tribulations. Through a combination of Lafleurs’ laid back beat making with Famoso’s playful lyrics and delivery, the album transports you straight back to the glory days of the 80's & 90’s West Coast hip-hop movement.

Hailing from Anaheim, CA, Famoso & Lafleur, are a duo comprised of two locals, Bob Famoso and Niko Lafleur. Having been friends since Junior High, the duo have been making music together since 2005 where they would download instrumentals, rapping over them with an old computer mic or a $15 dollar mic from Radio Shack.
